Well 2 more of my babies gone to their new home. I'm down to 4 BO hens, 1 BO roo, and the infamous Elvis and his 2 ladies. So I am set for chickens for a while. The little boy of the family that just took my 2 girls is so excited about them. Course they are sweet and he petted and almost held one before they left. We were feeding them mealworms and they were happy for the attention.
K I have 6 candyroasters on the porch to deal with! Anyone have any new and exciting recipes?

hello tracy! i live in boone but have a house about 10 miles away from you in grandy. my in-laws run united turf. welcome!!!

so I've been moving/renovating the last couple weeks and haven't had time for much else. I have finished my two runs and have all my kids in the two runs/coops. the 6 week olds had a cold night last night. 31 degrees in banner elk. around 36 here. they were fine in the coop. I'm gonna take lots of pics when i finish all the honey dos.

Hubby left the wrong gate open and the sheep got back into both the chicken house with the turkey feed and the garden. Three bloated sheep. Sigh. They were looking better before bed last night. I'm about to go check them this morning. Cross your crossables!

Good morning folks! It's a wonderful day for chicken chores...oh my gosh it feels amazing outside!! I think unbeknownst to my Doctor I am going to TRY and get the coops ready for the winter.

I have baby chicks coming out of my ears...literally!! LOL Does anyone know if there is some sort of anonymous addiction group that meets for those that love to incubate eggs? I'm admitting...I have a problem and its getting out of hand!! :/

I am going to have so many babies to sell in Morganton!!!
