Omg Shadow- I've never really like showgirls, but he is stunning!

I never did either...I HATE HATE HATE to sell him, but they are the only whites I have, I've never been a big fan of whites anyway and he was an 'opps' out of an egg assortment, and I don't have the room to breed another color....he is AWESOME by silkie standard, great wings, great cushion, good feet/toes, great foot feathering, good crest, nice comb and skin coloring...The pullet is nicer than that picture shows her to be, her crest and cushion are finally filling in now.

something to keep me busy later.......
I bet if I didn't waste time sleeping at
night I could get more things done

Looks like a lovely day out there. I've got to go to work earlier than normal to take care of something I meant to bring home over the weekend, and didn't. Blech. I shoulda gone back for it, but I really didn't want to. Now I have to pay the piper!

hey guys and girls... been a while i have been working like a nut... season is almost over for me cant wait. all chickens are going strong getting lots of eggs but no colors

. I believe my americauna is laying brown and so is my olive egger sad day but still yummy. Looking to add one or two more to the flock looking for a know green or blue egg layer and possibly a dark brown egg layer.

Hi Everyone,
We had rain early this morning. 8/10 of it while I slept later than usual. With the days getting shorter, the mornings get further away. I am looking for a home for an old german NHroo that is was born this spring. Hes a big fellow. I am npip. I find I will not have enough room to transport him in Nov. down to the coast of NC. He is very gentle and would make a wonderful flock roo. Let me know if anyone wants him.

making breakfast today I cracked an egg and the white was red?? bloody is this a normal occurance! Mind you I dont have any roosters

JD all it means is that a blood vessel broke as the hen was making the egg if I remember right

. It happens every now and than, I wouldn't worry to much
