NORTH CENTRAL FLA "BYC" SWAP (UPDATES) post #1/JAN.16th/Dunnellon, Fl.

We won't be able to make it this time. Friends of ours just arrived from Colorado for a visit. Cant talk them into another 2 hour drive so we will have to skip it. We were really looking forward to it too. Have fun and someone take pictures Micki

cmom... if her parents don't have any left I have a few young goats for sale I will try to post pics on here so they can see what they look like. I have 1 pygmy nanny 1yr., 3 Nubian nannies 7 mon. old., 1 nubian billy 4 months old.

Judy... hubby just loves the roos, they have made themselves right at home with the girls. Are they around 6 months? or getting close? Just wondering they were takin turns on playing "chickie" back on a couple of my girls that are laying. Cause if so I will have to stop collecting them for eating and start holding for the bator.

Ahh no problem, we just couldn't let Silly stay away she just loves these bird swaps as well as us.

See ya'll soon. I plan on having cages ready the night before so all have to do is load and go. We have 100 miles to travel to get there so we hope to be there around 9 or so please save us a spot we are coming up with peeps to sale.

You'll want to get her at least 2. Chickens do NOT do well all alone.

Debra, they hatched on 7/31/09, so they're 5 1/2 months. I'm so happy he liked them! See you and Silly at the swap.

Thanks guys! I thought I saw it somewhere, but I went back over posts and missed it...I think my eyes are crossing as I've been on here way too much lately. LOL!

cmom... if you can, have her call my mom...i'll pm you her number, then if she's interested maybe i can get mom to load a couple up. i think she has someone interested in them that is suppose to come today or tomorrow. she has a lamancha (no or little ears) and a really pretty white and cream colored one named sugar. all are female...and all are breeding age. if anyone else is interested in yearling females, pm me and i'll send you moms number too. thanks.

would anyone be interested in a pink egg laying ee (looks to be hen) but it has a neck problem. it goes into seizures if you startle it, but it's been like this for 3 weeks and eats and drinks fine? i'll give it to someone for free. my roo keeps attacking it. and i need the brooder it's in.

also....may may may have a pet quality but very beautiful blue silkie roo for sale. he's breeding age, about 6-7 months old. i just have 2 roos outside and one in the brooder that's sizzled, so i have to get rid of one of them...and i'm thinking it's him. (but every time i say that i change my mind lol).
