Sorry Jennifer, I am such an enabler! She left with 6 chickens! And her son left with a very special rooster named Chester who crows on command! What a sweety.

Well I am home and goats are in the goat pen with clipped hooves and all. chickens are in designated pens and doing well......I am on the couch resting trying to recover fron the cold i have....I feel so week no energy.
Thanks to all who bought from me and you are happy with purchases. Vicky grand daughter thanks for the sizzle she is fitting in with the other girls great. If any one is interested I need to sell theses ducks still......If not sold we will have them at next swap too.....

Great big thanks toCMom great place and great pens. If I ever need another I know where I will be buying from. The goats rode home finr in the kia...nothing is ever a challenge to get it Home NMIL said it is not a livestock hauler or no anything is if you leave it up to me ...lol

That was so much fun! Thanks, everyone! My baby son, John, really enjoyed petting the friendly roo, tiny silkies, and the sweet little rats (it was so hard not to take home those rats). He loved seeing all the animals and meeting so many people.

The little leghorn chicks are happy in their new great big coop. Our new RIR layer is in her cage near the laying hen suite waiting for nightfall to join her new family.

My car did well as a chicken hauling vehicle (six chicks in a cat carrier and a hen in a cardboard box). I wonder how long it will take before it stops smelling like chicken poo? *snork*

I just got done settling in my new birds. I'm in love with my cornish pair, and that big ol' white orp is enjoying his time with the reds. I also got a Turken/Silkie mix...she's so sweet <3 I had a great time! I hope we do this again sometime. Hopefully i'll have some chicks to bring. Hopefully Zelda will start sitting on those phoenix eggs.

Thanks so much for a fun swap! This was our first swap, too (I had to skip Humanities class to come! I really didn't want to miss the swap!), we met so many nice people, and we brought home 5 ducklings (one is SO small, I believe he's(or she) a hatchling because we're having to teach him/her stuff), Brama/Orpington Hen (very pretty, had to take her home) and a White Orpington Hen. They are getting use to their pens and the ducks are under their heat lamp sleeping.

Also met up with old friends of mine! We use to board our horses at the same ranch, it was nice to see them!

We sold our Cayugas, traded the Rouen hen for the 5 little ducklings, gave away our Frizzle Cochin, and sold our White Orpington Cockrel.


We still have the Pekin Drake- he won 2 Best of Breeds and 2 first places at his first show, if anyone is interested, let me know. Also still have the hamster (not a guinea pig LOL), and 2 female rats. I have a friend who is interested in getting them, I think.....



Don't think I can miss anymore school, so not sure if we will be at Pampered Pullet's Swap next month...

lol I will never forget the site of two goats stuffed into the back of a Kia.

LOL that was too funny!

LOL he's just hanging out with the chickens right now. He's cute, in my opinion, but very independent. He doesn't like to be held that much, but he is show quality if you ever wanted to show him.​
