North Dallas Area - ISO good layers for our backyard coop

We are in a suburb north of Dallas and would like to find some good layers. Not picky on breeds other than something kid-friendly. We've had black Australorps and Buff Orps in the past and loved them. Happy to take re-homers if they are healthy.
