north Florida newbie

Hey everyone I'm new to the chicken world and about to enter the world of guineas. I currently have 5 chickens total, 3 RIR's 1 of which is on social security (doesn't lay anymore) and 2 Rock buffs, all of which are hens, I had a rooster but it attacked my 1 yr.old daughter (nuff said) And I'm about to enter into the guinea domain, if everything works out.

Guineas are amazing animals and a lot of fun to have, but they are different from chickens. I hope to get some soon myself. They help control ticks and are intelligent and full of energy.
