I got back from Idaho, and the hens smashed and ate some of my neighbor's greyslyn eggs they were supposed to sit on.(same kind I gave firedragon.). I pulled some from the fridge and my coop, so I can still hatch some in a bator.

Only my husband would think that, on a day I lost my second most expensive cockerel, and One I cared deeply for, bringing home chicken for dinner was a good idea.

He did bring home my favorite wine though.

Sorry for your lose, but this something I totally would do... I love rotisserie chicken!! But timing it like that would end me up in hot water... Lol

I could gather up a few more for you if you just want to hatch eggs. Chelsea got some of them but I don't mind sharing. I've got 3 right now, and I'll be in Rathdrum or Cd'A on Sunday if you want to meet there instead of Spokane.

Hi Lacie, i looked back on your original post b/c i thought you were giving away bantam eggs. i really would like more bantams, since i only have one. Im sure your EE's are beautiful? I am not going to CDA today, sorry.

that was me that had bantams, but that hatch was a bit of a bust. Had 5 of 11 hatch, 2 had slipped tendons and one other died so only have 2 surviving golden necked d'uccles and 1 mille fleur, and 1 lavender D'Anvers. But another batch of D'Anvers are on Lock down now, and anotherbatch of lavender and blues will be next week. I really hate how difficult hatching bantams can be. On a side note i did get 10 silkies out of a hatch
