So heartbroken right now, he was my buddy and loved all the baby chicks. The new kitten was his best friend, and it makes me cry every time I think about how cute they were together. I don't know what to do. My husband says we can get another dog, but I want my Dozer. I had to stay home from work today. Cried my eyes out and then some.

I won the auction for the Silkied Ameracauna eggs!! I went all the way up to $250.00!! Normally I would never pay that for shipped eggs, but it is a benefit auction. I have decided to take just money from@Saris and my mom. It would be a nightmare to try and decide how to divide the hatch, especially if it is a low hatch rate. I will post pics when they hatch. So our next get together? When will that be? I was hoping for later this week, but it looks like it's gonna be crazy busy here.

What days work for people?

I'm good with most week days now that the kids aren't in school.

Would the 22nd (a wednesday) work?
 
Well... this is the total count. 5 chicks hatched. One egg got destroyed, the Swedish Flower was not fertile and the other eggs were partially developed. Actually, 2 others were fully developed, but failed to hatch. I am happy and Rumples is happy and protective. Tomorrow I am going to take the Littles out on the grass in the pen. Oh.... Rumples kicked the 4 unhatched eggs out of the nest and she moved her chicks out also. I think she was showing them where the food and water was. Thanks @firedragon.

I still think the black ones are Black Copper Marans crossed either with a Welsummer rooster or my Ameraucana rooster, as they are the ones that get most of the action. The one with the raccoon eyes might be the Swedish Flower rooster, but my BCMs had a lot of white on them when they hatched. The red one is a Welsummer, from your previous pics would appear to be full, and the brown headed one I think is an Ameraucana/Welsummer mix.
