I don't think so I went a year and half with no problem. I think the first one that died might have brought something in.

Completely understand. I don't want to afford $120 for a single chicken (most likely of which I paid less that $20 for).
Although considering I'm getting a rather expensive Rooster here shortly, if anything like it happens again, I'll be sending off for a necropsy to avoid any incidents with my soon to be (too expensive) flock.

First day of temp work was today. 2-3 week contract in Spokane (close to where Trent splints to mission). Loved it! That'll keep me busy and out of trouble for a few weeks. Receptionist position. NO ONE at work cares about chickens at all, lol. Glad I have you guys!
