I just butchered a quail today that had italian coloring, i might just wear one of those feathers  

Are your birds Italian? I googled Italian chickens. tee hee

My best friend just informed me tonight she gets the keys to her new house that Friday and I promised to help her clean paint and move. But if something falls through or I have a chance to sneak away for a few I will be there, I'm excited to meet some local people!!!

Oh, I hope you are able to come, or, or, or maybe we could change it?? Or hopefully we willmeet you @ the next meeting???

Hi, I was marking our meeting date on the calendar & realized Saturday FEB 13th is the due date for our 7th Annual Hatch-a-long. Just an FYI for those who are hatching chicks or ducks!!
Does this make a difference to anyone??

I told my hubby about the meet and he looked at me chuckled and said, "there's more of you?". He likes to play tuff but I caught him...

Mine kinda said the same thing. He just laughs and shakes his head when I start looking on Ebay or Rare Breeds Auctions. But he would build as many pens that I asked him to. I support him in his hobby of blacksmithing so it works out ok.

He is just learning but has made some really nice knives, and I wanted towel hooks so he made those too. He is making the hinges and latch for the doors to his shop, and hopefully for my outhouse coop so it looks like I want it too. He also has made several other things. I love to hear the hammer hitting the steel when he is out there working. I will have pics to show of his shop, its really cool.
