North Idaho / Eastern Washington

This is my grounding batch. No more after this last one.
how exciting, im happy for you. i sure hope they all hatch for you. take good care of those bielefelders. i read about them, they are a special breed. are they shipped eggs? hope they arrived in good condition for you, they are not cheap birds, if they are pure.

No one tell hubby, but my new brooder is going to be the top level. Hehe.
Ok, to be fair, he bought this for all my "chicken crud" to go on. So it's a space saver. No more incubators on the kitchen counter, no more brooder that takes up too much space... I can't wait to get it finished!

nice, space saver. i need a few of these. my small bedroom is my sewing room, music, bator & brooder room. it is getting crowded in there. i seriously need to reorganize.

any suggestions for organizing my room? suggestions welcomed.
I could take my piano out and put into another bedroom, but, i like it in this room. I could fold up my singer sewing machine or put it in another bedroom for a little more room, and just bring it back in later?
I need more shelving.
What do you (anyone can answer) use for brooders? thanks, i really need suggestions.

I have some 4 week olds I would sell you.
im curious, did you hatch them? where did you get your birds or eggs from? what are you asking for them? I understand the other lady asked first. i probably cant afford them, but i am curious. they are beautiful birds and i read about their temperment, egg size and color and history of breed. I like them. they remind me a little bit of the RD. thanks

I did hatch them, they came from Papa's Poultry and Chicken Hill Poultry, The girls are $25 each, the boys are $10. I may end up marking them down a bit since they aren't selling which is a huge bummer, but I can't keep them all, I'm hoping to at least recoup my costs after I sell the ones I'm not keeping.

I would love a serama roo, I am too far away boo, hoo.

Enjoying my roo Splash until CyndyD comes for him, it may have to include his sister too, now though...

enjoying a dust bath.
