Firedragon, hold out on that dark one, I had a dark one that I was ready to give up on once, and could not tell it was fertile til about day 10 and even then, it was only because of the air cell showing through later. Good luck!

I need a bigger incubator! I am just waiting for eggs to go into the lockdown bator so I have room to put more eggs in. I just set about 6 White Leghorn/White Ameraucana eggs. My next egg layers to keep. Put some eggs that weren't due for lockdown until tomorrow into lockdown this evening so I could fit the new eggs.
My chicks that hubby didn't leg band when they came out are about a month and a half now. I think I'm going to try selling them as trios on craigslist when they hit 2 months. $25 for Easter egger trios, what do you think (they are more likely blue and splashes)? To steep? Reasonably priced? I always worry I'm charging to much.

oh yes it is still in its spot! not letting it go until the very last minute.

I only have Welsh Harlequins, no Saxony or Appleyards as yet. I had better luck hatching duck eggs than I have D'Uccle or D'Anvers eggs, that is for sure lol!

I do have 2 drakes to sell, only wanting 10 each, but no extra duck/hens. We were very heavy on the males
