Northeastern CT need to rehome 12 NH Reds

I have 12 New Hampshire Reds and 1 Barred Rock roo, 18 months old and in need of a new home. PICK UP ONLY. The girls are sweet friendly egg machines and the roo isn't too aggressive unless you're a 110lb lab too curious for your own good. Healthy chickens with free run of a fenced acre, good foragers and the roo is a gentle hen packed boy. No missing feathers in my flock.
If interested please reply. I'll throw in a 12 pound feeder, 5 gallon waterer and 3gallon nipple waterer. Maybe a sweeterheater and automatic coop door (Ador) to seal the deal?

I am setting up a coop in my backyard this weekend and I am planning to get some chicken over the next week or so. Let me know if my home can be your chicken's new home. Not sure where you are but I am located in Wakefield, MA and have a commercial van that can carry all your chickens.

Evening Cenk. I'm about 30 miles south of the mass line off of I395/290. If traffic around Boston isn't driving you to tear your hair out then your drive should take 1.5 - 2 hours.

Just to clarify, you want all the chickens? Including the roo. And you are looking for eggs, not Sunday dinner for 13 weeks. If so then I'd be happy to see them find a home together where they can happily provide you 5-6 dozen eggs a week and you can be greeted by 13 eager chickens everytime you step outside.
Btw, distinctive name. Turk?

Thanks a lot for both of your messages. To answer your questions yes we are looking for egg production. I live in a property with lots of outdoor space and a border with a suburban forest. My twin boys now 3.5 years old have been on a strict diet with organic produce, grass fed animal products and free range eggs. I have always dreamed about starting my own coop to supply my home and neighbors with fresh eggs and now that my boys are old enough I decided to do this. I grew up in a culture (in Turkey) where every home had its coop and therefore it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I am also growing heirloom varieties of tomatoes and some other vegetables.

I was planning to have only 8 chickens because of the size of the coop that I am installing but if you would like to give away all 13, I can look for a way to add some more coop space. If it is not a problem for you however I’d like to get 8 girls for now. Let me know please.

I am getting a commercial cargo van tomorrow for my business and if it all makes sense I can try to come to you on Tuesday.

Thanks Cenk, I would really prefer that all go together. A little short term over crowding won't hurt them..if you have a run for them or allow them to free range then they'll only go inside to sleep. They have 16ft of roost in their coop and they have never used more than 8ft.

Unfortunately Cenk's neighbors are grumbling about chickens so he must decline on the opportunity. So, I still have 12 New Hampshire Red hens and a Barred Rock roo looking for a new home.
If you can take all 13 they will come with a 12 pound galvanized feeder, 2 waterers - 1 5gal and 1 2 or 3 gallon nipple waterer, an "Ador" automatic gear drive coop door with light sensor, 13 watt "Sweeter Heater". That's $400 worth of equipment in exchange for giving them a good home.
