We had our first attempted crow today, at around 6 weeks.

6 of 8 birds are obviously roosters, the last two are light sussex... I'd be calling them roosters except that my birds matured so fast that it's hard to know what to compare them to. I keep finding pictures of 10-11 week old birds that look comparable to mine.

Hey Gloken! I have a light Sussex pullet from the same hatch as yours - below are some shots of her.

Welcome to BYC! You should completely cover the run in hardware cloth and put skirting around the base of the run to keep digging predators out. Good luck in predator proofing your coop.
