Northern California: Scruffy the Welsummer Rooster — A very sweet youngster

I'm hoping this comment revives this discussion. Scruffy still hasn't found a new home. I never heard back from the person who said she'd take him. Plus, it looks like she lives within city limits.

You must be able to legally have a rooster and preferably have experience.

Scruffy is so sweet and cute, quite the little character. We adore him. He nipped at my fingers and ankles just a few times. He's a great boy, just like Henry's other sons that were re-homed two years ago.

I'm in Redding, which is in Northern California. Thank you.

I would take him but Redding is too far north for me to pick up your beautiful rooster. He would live in paradise on my ranch, with 29 lady friends.

That's so kind of you to comment. I really appreciate it. I'm willing to drive a few hours from here, but considering how far north I am, that probably won't get me too far.

Every time I post him in the Farm and Garden section on Craigslist, someone takes it down. But other rooster listings are there. So maddening, because that's a good resource.
