hey , we are moving to virginia , near the Bay , not sure where yet , but somewhere in the area of northern neck . We have a boat and are going to build a new one ! to live aboard!
I can't wait , anyone near there ?

Only bad thing is , We have a 108 acre farm , we are selling , and i just got my chickens!!!!THE NEW OWNER WILL PROB GET THEM . sOOOOOOOOOOOOOi will just have to get new ones, right ????
when we get moved , i would like to find swap mets near-by to get more chicks , maybe i will incubate my own !!!!

Do yoy have Tupelo ??? Will it grow there if we plant it ? I LOVE tupleo honey.
Rught now we have 15 hives, very active this year !!!!

I just started this year. We set up 2 hives.

Tupelo = sorgum? I think they grow it there in some places. I know they do in the mountains for sorgum syrup.

Greetings from Hot Springs! No chickens yet - trying to get around an ordinance. Who would have thought that in this xtremely rural county, I would not be allowed a few laying hens!

A friend says I should have them anyway. My mom would always 'own' them and I have them on loan for my yard!

Any ideas on how to fight this? Would a batham qualify as an exotic bird? Parots are allowed.
