I'm surprised people were freaked out. I didn't see anyone freaking, but I guess they did it quietly, or something. Where do they think plastic wrapped chicken comes from????

I thought Bill the dog was the most freaked out there - when he looked appalled and spat out the fresh, warm chicken liver back into my hand!

I thought it was great, too! I learned a lot! Would like to try another one using the cones instead of the hatchet - ugh.
