Drove by your new house today! Looks like you have a big ole barn to fill up!

Wow Jen, that is awesome. Do you know I haven't even seen it yet? Just pictures. I'm glad to hear there is a barn. I have to drive my little car out to Maine first, and then fly back to Minn. to get the animals. (All paid for by the company). We got our move date today. The moving van will be here June 2nd. Delivery date is somewhere between June 8-13th. We will beat the moving van by several days, so will have to get the animals settled, and stay in a hotel nearby.

Excellent idea! They tend to be very agreeable when you have scissors next to their head, don't they?

(I really need an eee-vil smiley!) I'm cutting my hubby's hair tonight.... gonna try that! So far if I come, it's just me and the kids.

I still have chicks coming out of my ears! Silkies, Project lav Orps, White, lav, split & a few mixed color Ameraucanas.

Is the best way to sell by pre-order? I'd hate to drive them there & then have to take them all back home!

Pre-order plus 10%. Once people see them they will want some, so the extra 10% will sell....or you can just give them away as Door Prizes. Or hand one to each child as they leave? (I think I need an evil smilely too)

I have time to hatch one more batch if anyone wants to speak for them! Just give me an excuse

I stopped and checked the barn situation out. It's a decent sized barn that has two garage doors, a barn door and it looks to have an added on small shed with a walk in door. Also, noticed a couple of sheds in the back, that look to be easy enough to convert to bird homes or other small animals. You're going to LOVE that area. You are less than 1/2 mile from SEBAGO LAKE, a couple of pubs that have outdoor bands playing in the summer, an awesome older Library, the town office/post office, a butcher and about a mile away from a good family practice doctor, pharmacy, small grocery store and about 10 miles away from Main street in Bridgton, which has some real nice little town charm, with a drive in, a larger grocery store, lot's of antique shops, a Paris Farmers Union and Hardware store. Naples is a nice location. It's a tourist spot though, so traffic from Memorial Day to Labor Day can get tricky if you take 302. I know some back ways to most places and can help out with that. You are about 40 minutes from New Hampshire and 30 minutes from Fryeburg (big Country Fair with poultry show in the fall)

Let me know if you need help setting up the birds/cleaning out the barn/wanna kick back have a drink/whatever...

Is it just you? Any kids or significant others?
