Hello everyone. My family and I are new to the world of chickens. We are tired of poisoning ourselves and our children with all of the junk in our food today. We are attempting to become much more self sufficient. We started gardening last year. I have been working on my coop and run and hope to start a flock come spring. Until then trying to read and learn all I can. Seems there is so much info to process. I am self employed (construction always feast or famine) more famine lately than feast so we are looking for ways to raise our chickens on a budget. I look forward to using this site and its member as a very much needed source of info. Maybe even make some friends that are close to Northwest TN (Obion County) Any help or tips are very welcomed and appreciated.
