Is anyone else having a problem on the site? I started getting warnings from Norton whenever I tried to open the Mother's Day Hatch thread, but now it's on every page. Right now I'm here typing and the page is flashing off and on. I ran a scan on my laptop and it had some tracking cookies, but I just hit fix as usual, but it's still doing this every time I try to come in here. I had to click "Open The Site Anyway."

Is something going on on here that no one is aware of? I can't lose BYC!!!!

We haven't heard any other reports. Is Norton giving you specifics on why it is warning you about? If you could copy / paste as much details as possible (errors, messages, codes, screenshots, etc.) we can dig into it a bit more.

I didn't even think about it. I ran a full scan and shut down. Just finished that and found nothing else on my laptop. If it keeps happening I'll try to get all the information up. Seems OK now, but the Mother's Day hatch was the first thread it wouldn't let me open and then when I'd bypass Norton none of the pics showed. It was giving me phishing notices. I have 3 windows on here open now and it's opening on it's own. It wouldn't even let me post, but I have that problem and problems with multi quotes a lot anyway. I just didn't want to not be able to get back in here and let someone know what was going on. But it also said High Risk for the site and I've never had it do that before either.

It's been working fine since the matineance yesterday. Well except a usual probelem I have when I try to post. I constantly get a box to show up that says I need to add text and even using the box it doesn't work. But no more warning messages from Norton.

I don't like Norton, I disabled it because they declared BYC a high risk LOL! So I dropped it and found IE spyware Microsoft Security to be working great. I don't know how many times that M.S. caught things that does not belong on this computer and it would quarantine. Rarely it ever happen in here but other websites, it is often.

So far so good and I'm pleased with it. I upgraded to IE9 and had no issues with it onceforever.

this is just a guess, but am thinking it may be because a user has posted in the threads with addresses/links to a site which is directly or indirectly associated with sites that are well known for hosting viruses/dodgy files etc.
the site linked to doesnt actualy have to be dodgy at all; if the same individuals upload rubbish all the time norton et al finds out and highlights the site as unsafe.
have experienced it on one forum before, without warning or notice of why they did it forum staff removed a signature of mine-apparently someone had reported the image saying it had set their norton off-because it was hosted on a file site which apparently had some obscure link to hosting dodgy files on it-in other words norton et al restrict the site and dont blame the uploader.

That's what I thought too at first. Thing is it started with one thread and then it wouldn't let me go anywhere or post anything and I was getting the same warning. Hasn't happend since that day though. The issues now are quotes or osting all together.
