Once momma recovers and has turned this chick loose I will buy eggs from the Backyard Chicken member I bought these from and brood them under this hen again. This hatch was a bit of a comedy of errors and it was a miracle one hatched but will buy more from this lady again and expect an excellent hatch rate. Any problem with this hatch were all due to human error. Eggs were excellent quality and seller great. In the words of a zillion previous backyard chickenites "next time will be better, next time will be better, next time will be better.....".
