Norwood Ohio Laws

My husband and I are looking to move to norwood with our flock of 5 lovely buff Orpingtons. I see where the laws allow 7 hens in Norwood, but I havent been able to find a copy of the regulations for the coop. Are there any? Thanks in advance.

Call the building department. It may just need to follow the rules of a shed, or there may be specific rules for housing animals. Minimally I would expect a certain setback from the property line and/or any applicable utility easements. Often structures over a certain square footage require a permanent foundation and/or building permit. Also ask if there are any codes/requirements in terms of fencing. Some areas are particular and some are not when it comes to fencing material and height.
