Robins are songbirds and protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. This makes it a federal crime to be in possession of eggs, chicks, or adults.
You can be fined or jailed if caught in possession of this bird.

Please find a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator to take this bird to where it can receive proper care.

The Migratory Bird Treaty Act prohibits the taking, killing, capturing, transporting, harboring of the birds or hatching eggs, that which are Native to the United States of America. All are protected by state and federal agencies.
