Chick Mom x3
In the Brooder
Hi all, My name is Nancy and I am so new to backyard chickens. To start,I fed them the wrong food. Like things that were only suppose to be for a little treat. I have one who has thin shelled egg, they are slowly getting better. Got a new coop and one stopped laying altogether 3 months ago. Now the only one that is laying has a possible goiter!!! So welcome to the world of chickens! Any thoughts on what to do? Goiter is kind of scary.
! Pleased you joined our community. I am in agreement with the above...a full crop looks pretty freakish...just food waiting to go the gizzard where it gets ground up. Hope that's all it is. Best wishes!
