I personally see a very light olive drab colored egg. Definitely not olive, but it doesn't look brown to me.

I was thinking of that possibility too, maybe a photo in good light with a white paper background would bring out the color more.

I'm not sure. I think thats how that works though. Green = blue shell with brown bloom?

It might be your screen. The egg is the same color my speckled sussex lays (but def not hers as they are still in the "see not touch" stage of the hen-tegration to the flock).

I’d call her a mutt, because she doesn’t lay olive eggs.
She does likely have Olive Egger in her heritage, I agree. But I’d call her a mutt. All Olive eggers are mutts, but a mutt is only an Olive Egger if it lays olive eggs. Does that make sense?
