Loking for a Light Brahma rooster and come across an ad for a trio of Light Brahmas!! I was so excited. Went to pick them up (an hour and a half away) and guess what.... not a light brahma. Kinda looked like one but comb was wrong and no feathered legs. I took them anyway. I know, I know, always ask for pics. Just got too excited about going to get them. One of the hens has very slight feathering on her legs. Here is a pic. Do they look like Delewares?

I don't have any lt brahma roos, but but the one in the back looks like a lt brahma hen. I have 2, one lets her feathers grow and the other plucks them out so she doesn't have that many, but it looks about right. I don''t know about your boy though.

Their combs are straight, single combs. Not like the two Light Brahmas that I have. Here is another pic of her.

Yes, those look more like Delawares, or possibly a cross breed. I'm not sure Delawares have the yellow in their hackles like that.

She tried to sell me some "Gloden Laced Wyandottes" that were obviously not "Gloden Laced Wyandottes". Oh, well. Live and learn. Thanks!
