Not a Predator-- Yet!!

what could this be? Something gets into my chicken run every night. It eats the leftover chick crumbles & sometimes turns the scratch feeder over & eats some?? Not sure about eating the grain but it def. knocks the feeder over. Also roots around in the hay covering the dirt.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't appear to even TRY to get the pullets & chicks.

I'm thinking maybe armadillo but I thought they only eat bugs & worms.

Any ideas??

Rats? Skunk? Coon? dog? coyote? Pretty much anything that just isn't bright enough or bold enough to know your chickens are there or just wants the easier meal......

Possum? or seeing that you are from Texas maybe a possum on the half shell. Of course I am referring to the armadillo.
