I'm trying, but you already know. Doesn't seem real still.
I'm doing more just lately though, so at least I'm not a complete zombie right now.

I think the secret is to not expect too much of yourself. It is like losing a limb, you have to relearn how to live with the new you. If I might make a suggestion there is a site called widownet.org that is a big help. It is a forum and everyone there is widowed and sometimes it really helps to have others who are going through the same thing to talk to. I know it really helped me. Its been 6 years for me and I have to admit I don't know if I would have made it through that first awful year without that site.

I've been there, but found one more comfortable. Helps to have people somewhere who know what you're really feeling and not just guessing.

Wolftracks you need two Cane Corsos one for the yard, one for the house. Plus a pint of Dove caramel pecan perfection ice cream - with the top layer of chocolate ganache. I kid you not - works for me.

I'd love another Corso if I could afford one.

Godiva Dark Chocolate Fudge........smothered in Ganache!

Did I miss something? Was something wrong with your pup?

I'm so glad your chicks were ok and you got them back. Having someone invade my yard like that would really freak me out too. I'm down to one dog here now and he'll bark but he's pretty friendly to strangers and he's the smallest too. The other two would eat uninvited guests and their size intimidated people enough not to try.

I am sorry this happened but glad your neighbor helped with the chicks, and getting the guy out of your yard. I would not want to be that guy when his wife gets a hold of him.

I would read any notes left at the door might have helped in this matter. Wish I had neighbors like that.

Wolftracks you can get Godiva??? We haven't had it out here in years. I used to love the chocolate cheesecake flavor so much I'd buy it even when I didn't have a coupon and it wasn't on sale. Back then a pint was $ 4.00 Today the stores sell the premium stuff alot higher and you only get 14 oz.
