These welcoming words make me feel a part of this great BYC group. I look forward to getting to know you all better. We are located in North East Oklahoma on Grand Lake of The Cherokees. We live on ten acres and have chickens, guinea fowl, goats, cats and one brave, loving, watchful dog named Slim. My husband has been ill so we have not been able to grow our flock of chickens these past two years but are hoping next spring will bring us better opportunity. We currently have Black sex-links, Rhode Island Reds, one 6-year-old Araucauna, one Brahma Hen one silkie mix hen and her five new chicks. Our one rooster is a Japanese Araucauna mix named Chcklet. Our Araucauna Rooster that recently crossed to road to live with neighbors breeding show chickens, was Rooster Jack Bauer and his adventures are many. Perhaps I can share them someday. Thanks again for this royal welcome. Annie aka Best Fowl Granny
