Not allowing hens to lay in the boxes

I have a seven month old Australorp who does not allow two hens to lay in the nesting boxes and pecks them until they end up laying in the middle of the run.

If I’m out there, I usually block her and wait while they lay so she doesn’t chase them out.

Looking for tips on how to prevent her from bothering them.

Ugh! I have a BA too, she does not prevent them from entering the nest boxes, but she herself would rather lay on the floor, and everyone follows her lead!

Do you have plenty of nesting boxes? Could you try curtains? I too have an Australorp, but she is a sweetie!
