Ok....what the heck is this chicken? I ordered 3 australorps, 1 was a cockerel and I rehomed him. The remaining 2 appear to be pullets but are they both really australorps? 1 is all black, the other has some white patches under her chin and white feather tips. Both have dark feet and unfeathered legs. You can see them both in this pic. I can probably snap more later if you need more detail. Just tell me which chick you want pics of and what profile you want. I just want to know what I have. I know the rest are ee’s, and a BR...my rir and BO are not in the pic with these girls. 5182CF6B-5FA4-4D25-8AAC-973E0A9FEAA4.jpeg

Better pics from the side, while they are standing. Make sure comb type and any wattle growth can be seen in that pic or in an additional pic. Seeing their body shape and type while they are standing is helpful for breed ID. Also, leg color and any feathering or extra toes helps ID.

How old are they, and what’s the source?

I’d guess female from these pics.

BA have slate colored legs -the legs in pic may or may not be slate. Bottoms of BA feet are pink flesh color. Single comb.

a Black Jersey Giant (BJG) will be similar to a BA, but should have a larger frame, a flat back (when grown), slate legs, and bottoms of feet are yellow colored. Also single comb.

if this one’s male, I would have expected more wattle growth by this age. Male saddle feathers begin to be apparent by 12+ weeks.

Yeah I’m not guessing sex here. At this point I’m confident they are all pullets. I’m asking about breed.

Bottom of her feet look yellow to me. And yes. Legs are slate.

Well....I found an old post about a similar bird. Apparently my birds feet ARE pink. They look yellow to me just like the other posters bird....but everyone informed the original poster those feet were indeed pink....so I guess they are pink.
