Not an emergency but advice is appreciated

How is your injured duck doing? Have you had any luck with physio for the stiff foot?

Please give us a progress update
Hi Ruth! I just logged in because I had no notification emails. She is doing really great! And is out with her friend again ☺️

So glad to know -- i was fearing the worst with no updates!

I'm so happy for your duck that you were available to her at the time she was injured and that you didn't take the easy way out and euthanaze her. Ducks make remarkable recoveries from quite horrific injuries with care and patience. The critical care is the immediate care to clean wounds and keep the duck hydrated with oral rehydration salts. Then it's just tender loving care and patience. Your girl is already experiencing a return to a good quality of life. That should give you joy to know that without you she would not be alive today
