Should I trim my uncle's roosters spurs they are about 3 inches away from his leg. Almost all the eggs are fertile so he isn't hurting the hens (yet). What do you all think

Are they three inches long or curled up and three inches from touching his leg?

As long as the hens are fine and as long as he isn’t attacking humans with them then I would leave them on. It’s more natural for him, plus it is kinda uncomfortable for him when you trim them.

I leave them on if the hens aren't being worn and if they're not in danger of puncturing the male's legs or abdomen.

They are not curled but they are about 3 inches and about 3 inches away from touching his leg
