Not and Easter Egger....please help!

Dad was either a Java or a Barred rock. Mother could be almost anything?

I have seen pics that look very much Easter Egger....but that is not possible...I hatched this from my bator

Not sure what you're asking here but it sounds like you have yourself a cute little barnyard cross. Easter eggers are typically birds that carry the blue egg gene and can lay a multitude of colors of eggs. There are no standard varieties or breed descriptions for EEs but they commonly have beard/muffs and green legs. Some will be clean faced and others will have legs that aren't green. Knowing what color egg the chick came from will help to narrow down who the mother is.

The next question would be.... What kind of comb does it have? Was the Java roo black?
