Hi all one of my chicken has gone off her regular food layers pellets, her comb is falling slightly to the side which I think indicates sickness or lacking protein. She will still eat pasta, porridge, grapes, bread soaked in milk the usual things I give her as a treat. She still seems to be foraging. She spends a bit more time in the run even though she is free to roam. Any advice? Thanks 👍🏻

She will probably eat her pellets if you stop feeding all of the other foods (pasta, grapes, bread and milk.) Bread is not good for crops. Neither is milk. Take a small bowl of the pellets, and add a lot of water to make a mash, and offer that in addition to the pellets. Make sure that your feed has no mold or that it is a new brand.

Excellent, thanks for the help. I'll try that. It's the same brand and is stored properly and always well in date so don't think it's the food. Thanks again
