FRIED PICKLES!!! Yummy. I don't know if this is a southern thang but this is what you do:
Take some eggs and beat them in a bowl
Take a ziplock bag and add flower, pepper and cajan (spelling) seasoning. (cajan seasoning is opional)
Cut up some whole Dill Pickles and put them in the egg (cut them in round slices)
Then put the egg soaked pickles in the bag of flower mix and shake the bag up until pickles are covered
At the same time have oil heating in a skillet
After the oil is hot put the battered pickles in the oil.
Fry til brown on both sides and eat them dipped in Ranch dressing.
NOTE: The thicker the slices of pickle the more "pickle taste" they'll have. Cut the slices thinner for a more fried taste. Or make a mixed batch to see what taste you like better.
