Ok, I have to chime in here. Whether or not she has had these forever how long..
1) YOU NEED TO QUARANTINE REAGARDLESS, whether she had these for 3 years, 3 months or 3 weeks. If you are adding new birds it is required and doesn't change a thing. So her having them only a week or so should not change your requirements. I know plenty of people that get birds from "reputatable" sources that end up with problems
2) People, you are arguing over $12! I know money is tight, trust me, I have 6 kids in a single income family, but $12!
3) She spent $$ on gas to get these, has spent $$ to take care of them.......
4) I would have done the same thing until I was sure which I would keep, and I'm sure if you were in the same position you may have done the same. Maybe not
