Not getting e-mail notifications of posts.

For the last three-four days I have not been getting any e-mail notification of posts on threads I have subscribed. I am getting e-mail from other sources just not BYC. Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't have these problems but then again I have it turned off so I dont get them. But there are threads ongoing in the BYC forum information and questions. Here is one of them ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/975710/not-getting-private-email-notifications

Have you checked your settings? You may just need to reset them or check your spam. I'm sure if you post on the thread above a staff member will help you.

If you have Android, you can use the app notifications instead of email alerts.

Try replying to an old notification message, this will sometimes trigger the SPAM algorithm to stop blocking a server. Sometimes Mail gets blocked on the server level (before any attempt at mailbox delivery) because the SPAM algorithm determined that it was sending too many emails without replies, and therefore considers the emails unwanted SPAM. If that doesn't work you may need to contact your email provider to find out why the BYC server is being blocked.

Like I said, the Android app notifications will work regardless because they do not rely on email whatsoever. There is not yet an IOS app with notifications, but I might write one soon, after I finish a couple other projects.

Go to your "Subscriptions" (below the Private Messages) and click the option after the thread, then click "Immediate" (to receive emails).
