[Must Be Losing It]

I already lost a little guy I think!!!!!

He had pipped underneath the egg and some fluid from the egg collected between the wires of the incubator. I think he drowned.

I turned him upright and noticed his pip was on the wrong end of the egg. Does this mean anything?

I'm pretending he's sleeping until tomorrow incase I'm wrong.

Well, he didn't make it. My husband opened his egg up this morning and he was under developed. He obviously wasn't meant to make it.

But meanwhile, his brother/sister was sitting in the incubator staring up at me and a few siblings are peeping in their eggs with a couple pips.

So I have my first chicken ever!!!!!!!!! I've waited 42 years for this moment and alas, I have now realized one of my lifelong goals.
