My chicks arrived in April. Order of six, they sent 7. One died which I later figured out was the polish I was looking forward to. My other exotic is an easter egger and guess what? It is a rooster. So my 2 "splurge" chickens are a bust. Now I have to figure out what to do with a rooster. It's beautiful but the coop is outside my bedroom door! I know it is silly to be disappointed but I am. What should I do with the rooster? PS. I don't eat chicken!

Many people post them for sale or trade on Craigslist. I hope the rest of your flock brings you joy! :)

I know I'm being picky, but with a rooster, I don't get the green eggs or a calm flock. These girls are on edge.

I went a long time without a Rooster, when I got one, he brought harmony and safety to my "girls". However, many can't or don't want to keep him, maybe you can trade him.
