Not Hatched...Help!

:welcome (Again :p)

People say that you should wait 24 hours for the eggs to hatch out, as some can be a bit slow.
I'd wait for an answer from some of the more experienced hatchers on here, I've never been involved with hatching myself.

I notice you're from Yorkshire, me too! (Although I'm from west yorkshire)

Thank you all for your help and advice... I absolutely love BYC site (which I stumbled on accidently).. It's fantastic for information and chats.. x

Thanks, I've had a read... won't the water be too hot for the chicks if still alive?? Really worried about trying it incase it harms them

Hi we've gone to 48hrs now and still nothing :-( The other 3 chicks are doing well though !
We are in Sunny Doncaster.. Well sunny today haha

I think we've swapped weather - you're sunny and we're drenched in rain

The temperature of the water for the float test is in Fahrenheit, so 100 would be just about the same as what an incubator is set to. As long as you candle them before you do it and there aren't any cracks, pips, etc in the shell, they should be fine.

Hi and :welcome from Ohio. So glad you joined If you candle them the chick should be in the air cell by now and you will see movement if the are still alive. Good luck. :thumbsup
