Not laying eggs in coop

I have one chicken, Georgette, brown leghorn who is no longer laying her eggs in the coop. Does anyone have advice how to get her to lay eggs again in the coop?

Your hen thinks she is getting a better deal somewhere else. Try cleaning and putting fresh hay in her nest box. Hide a few mealy worms in the back. You might make sure there are no ants, mites or other aggrevations in her box.

Is she not wanting to go in the coop? Or nest box? Check for mites or other bugs, as suggested clean & refresh the nest box. Next put a golf ball or fake egg in the nest, keep her in the coop for few days.

She has developed a habit of laying someplace else..Chickens are creatures of habit..Can you keep her locked in the Coop till she starts using the nest boxes?
My one Orpington has started laying on the Coop floor so I put a bucket in that spot..She uses the nest boxes again...Crazy Chickens...

Yes, I think I will have to lock her in the coop. That sounds like the best way to get her to lay in the coop again. I do refresh the nesting boxes weekly and the other chickens use it, so I don't think there are any mites, but I will look. She was laying outside the coop before, but when I located her spot she started laying again in the nesting boxes. Well, now she is back laying outside of the coop and I haven't been able to locate where she is laying.

She just needs are reset.
Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop for a week or so can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. Fake eggs/golf balls in the nests can help 'show' them were to lay. They can be confined to coop and maybe run 24/7 for a few days to a week, provided you have adequate space and ventilation, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it. ..at least for a good while, then repeat as necessary.
