Not laying in Florida Summer

We live in central Florida (not natives, so I'm still learning about this crazy place and climate) and have three Silkie hens. Silkies aren't good laying hens normally, but we had been getting 2 eggs per day. Now nothing. They aren't molting either. Could it be the summer heat? Everything I read says laying slows in winter, could it be that Florida is the opposite?

One is almost 2 years. The other 2 are 8 months

The heat can definitely play a role in laying, especially if you have a breed like Silkies.
