Thanks for everyones response.
1 - I plan on purchasing by the ton. Nothing less as it costs more. They bag it in 100 lb bags that I provide for them, they throw on a pallet and load on the truck and off I go.
2 - I have demand beyond belief for eggs. I currently have 50 and haven't really payed attention to the feed or math at all. But I started at a farmers market with rabbits in November and the demand is amazing for eggs. I come in with 50 dzn one weekend per month and they are gone in the first hour and could easily sell more. Plus, in spring I have regulars that stop by to purchase at my house. So I have no problems with eggs. Same goes with my rabbits. I come in with 20 each time and they are all gone by end of market. Can't complain at all for a join on a wimb type market at my wife's church.
