Not my first rodeo

I have had chickens on 2 separate occasions in the last 5 years. Neither time did I have the very long due to poor planning on my part. I bought the chicks then quickly slapped together a coop, just to have it broken into and all my chickens killed. I finally wised up, I'm building a chicken coop now so I can get some in the spring. It will be 4x8 with a 16 foot run.

When I first got chickens I had this happen to me too, except it was by my dog.

Please use 1/2" hardware cloth rather than flimsy chicken wire. It lasts longer and holds up much better to predators.
