Welcome back! Have you had that long a break from chickens, or just from BYC?
I wasn’t here that long ago but I can say that BYC now is a great community with lots of people happy to share their experience to help a fellow chicken keeper.

Glad you are back in chicken business! What breeds are you considering?

Ohhh yesss! True heritage barred rocks, whiting genetic hackle and onagadori. I've wanted onagadori since I was a kid and finally have the means to get them! Got 3 incubators set up and have ordered a ton of fertile eggs. They are arriving this week!

My husband has made some beautiful plans for a large coop to house the "goodest girls", and 6 smaller individual breeding pens for my hobby project
