Not new to chooks but been a while. Decided on 10 as we have opened a new BnB in Scotland. I do have a question about giving chicken rain water?

Hello! Your chicken palace looks great! I am also renting our guesthouse as a BnB. Eggs in the refrigerator are a big hit. Feeding the birds is also fun for a lot of our visitors. City people like to come to the "country" and their vacation is where we live full time.
We could never depend on rainwater here, but we collect it, and sometimes lucky birds get it in their water dish. We use well water a lot, no problem. It is not officially potable water, but the birds have had no problem with it for the past year.

Rain water should be fine. Their wouldn't be any need to filter it or anything. It falls from the sky

Welcome to BYC! I used to collect rain water for my flock many many years ago, they never had a problem with it.

The rainwater itself will be fine. I'm not sure about using the black PVC as here it is generally used for waste water. It could leach chemicals.
