Thank you and hope your BnB does well once we all get back to normal and out of covidHello! Your chicken palace looks great! I am also renting our guesthouse as a BnB. Eggs in the refrigerator are a big hit. Feeding the birds is also fun for a lot of our visitors. City people like to come to the "country" and their vacation is where we live full time.
We could never depend on rainwater here, but we collect it, and sometimes lucky birds get it in their water dish. We use well water a lot, no problem. It is not officially potable water, but the birds have had no problem with it for the past year.
Thank you for kind words about coop - it was a joy to build. I will definitely keep an eye on the water quality if using rain water. In Scotland the tap water is high quality so we very lucky.
Hello there
What a lovely palace you have. It looks ideal for your chickens.
I'm no expert on chickens as I am learning daily but as for the rainwater they will always find a way to drink at least some of it. I always try to avoid this as much as possible due to the numourous air pollution's we have have going on. I'm hoping to find a way to filter rainwater one day.

We only rent out the Bunkhouse on weekends, since I let it air out until Wednesday before I clean, then they check in on Friday. We have it listed on Air BnB and since we started last July it has been rented pretty often. We do not rent it when the snow is 17" deep! Most people who come are local, from Phoenix which is about 2 hours away.Thank you and hope your BnB does well once we all get back to normal and out of covid

I hope you do well, too! It is something we never imagined doing when we retired.
