Not ONE egg but TWO!!!

We have had dogs get 3 of our chickens in the last week so when I heard one of my girls squawking loudly I started running! What I found made me scream in JOY!!! TWO EGGS - A blue and a white!!!! So it seems that two of the girls decided today, their 20 week birthday, would be the day!!

Yay Congrats! I got my first egg sunday. My girls are also 20 weeks. What breeds do you have?

Sorry you lost some girls to a dog. Monday I lost 2 of mine to a stray dog as well. I am so sad my favorite was the one we never found.

Sorry about your chickens. Unfortunately the dogs that got my babies were my own. Chickens got to comfortable free ranging near the dogs and that was it. Two attacks, two dead and one MIA.

Oh that's terrible. I'm lucky with my two dogs. They are both 10 and lazy. they are really good with them but I would never leave them unattended

4 easter Eggers
1 Dominique ( was 3 b4 the stray dog)
3 buff orpintons
3 welsummers

They are 20 weeks old and just started laying.
