Not panting anymore but still can't walk or stand

When Should I start giving them low dose aspirin? They just came in yesterday afternoon, and the new &%$# at the post office had 1.) put some other box on top of it, the lid was slightly crushed 2.) when hubby went to pick them up she had them out on the dock in the sun and told hubby and I QUOTE : "huh, I'm glad you came and got them so I don't have to deal with them" on top of being VERY VERY rude, so I'm sure the fact that I lost 3 yesterday had a lot to do with it, one was very dehydrated but I thought it'd make it and the other 2 had been trampled/crushed. Anyways, I woke up this morning after only 3 hours of sleep and constantly checking on them and one was laying down panting and when I picked it up to make sure it was ok and try to get it to drink some water I noticed something else wrong with it (mind you they were perfectly fine 3-3 1/2 hours ago) It cant stand, it can scoot but not stand up, or at least refused to stand. I know things like this are to be expected with this breed of bird. Hubby is going to bring home some aspirin, hopefully it will help.

Are they too hot? Usually panting in a little ones that age means they are either too hot, or have pasty butt. Is the butt clean?

Keep offering clean water, and dipping it's beak.

Unfortunately it's not uncommon to lose a few of the day olds.

Panting indicates stress or they are too warm. Cornish are a challenge,
especially on their first days. I've never heard of giving them aspirin.
A vitamin and electrolyte in their water would be good. If you don't
have a chicken vitamin you can use Polyvisol, a childrens vitamin found
in any drug store.

I've been offering clean water and the temp is where it should be. It's only the one, so I was assuming its on account of the breed and possible heart problems(thus the aspirin). I am also giving them a vitamin and electrolyte in their water, the 'super broiler max' vitamins. The rest of them are more than fine running, playing, eating sleeping. I even moved him further away from the light but it hasn't really helped much. I got him to drink some water and the panting has stopped for now but he still can't stand up

You can try isolating him and hand feeding some yogurt until he
gets his strength back.

It sounds to me like you have the situation well in control.

thanks, I just wish I could do more for the lil' fuzz ball right now. Hubby and I haven't gone grocery shopping yet this month, just ran out of vinegar and yogurt but he should be bringing some home when he gets off of work at 3, along with the aspirin.

*Update : Not panting anymore but still can't walk or stand. I've got him isolated in a cardboard box in the brooder, his poo is normal but he's getting to the point where he's not scooting to the food and water I have to move him to it. I've been working with him to try and get his legs to strengthen if that's the case. He's not eating as much as the rest are though. I've been giving them all a vitamin and electrolyte supplement in their water and changing litter out daily. I've been making sure to keep the water and food clean and I change it about every couple of hours. These are cornish rock chicks btw. The rest of them are acting like normal chickens so I'm hoping it's not a disease. They've been vaccinated for merek's. Also he's started curling his toes up under him, when I try to do some leg exercises with him he uncurls them but he doesn't really grip my finger all to well. He's 4 days old today.
Also hubby forgot yogurt yesterday but he's on his way home with it now.
